We are so grateful to be traveling around England this Winter/Spring, as a family, to visit Commission churches that Adam has been asked to preach and teach at. It is such a blessing to go as a family and worship together in some different churches. Also, we get to see some of England/London as we go and visit these churches, which has been so sweet. We went as a family to Winchester in December and enjoyed the Christmas markets while Adam helped teach a class. We also were able to visit Windsor Castle as a family in November when my parents came to London. Jack has done so well on all of the trains and buses. He is a champ!
Lucy started nursery this January! It's just two hours a day and she loves her new school. It has a big adventurous outdoor space, which is a huge blessing in London! God gave me a picture before we even moved to London. It was a dream of me pushing a stroller next to a river with tall city buildings on the other side of the water with Lucy and a baby. Well fast forward to today, there is a sign across from Lucy's school that is a picture of a person walking with two kids by the water and it is called "Riverside Walk." It really is the picture that God gave me before we even knew we were moving to London. I am so thankful for God affirming where we are and reminding me of that dream he gave me so long ago! I met a few ladies at a park a few months ago who introduced us to Lucy's nursery. I've had tea with one of the ladies and hope to continue friendships with them. It seems like a great crew of parents and Lucy seems like she will really enjoy it! Lucy continues to enjoy the big park that we live near, Battersea Park, and I've had plenty of park time with Jack and Lucy as I push them through the park.
Jack is continuing to grow and develop so quickly! He is a big boy. He was 19 pounds by the time he was 3 and a half months old, so he is giving us a workout! Jack was born with a heart murmur, which is a pretty common thing in babies. We went to a clinic to check his heart at 3.5 months and he still had the murmur. We had to return the following week for another heart test and he was healed of his murmur! Praise God! Jack has been busy with his usual baby appointments and has been enjoying staying close to mama.
With love from London,
Laura, Adam, Lucy, and Jack
